Maison Martial Arts is affiliated with the I.C.E. Federation

Here's a bit of information on I.C.E.
“ICE” stands for Individuals, Conquering, Excellence, and this
exciting new organization is dedicated to ensuring fairness in martial
arts competition by adhering to the following principles:
In an effort to promote unity and cooperation among the various martial
arts styles and programs in Michigan and the Midwest, a number of
leading grandmasters and masters formed the ICE Federation in late 2006.
Tournaments exist for the benefit of the competitors and participants,
not for the sole purpose of providing profit to the promoter.
Through cooperation and teamwork, tournaments and other events will be
scheduled so as to minimize the chance of conflict with another event
and to allow reasonable time between events.
In the spirit of cooperation and harmony, students at participating ICE
schools will have the opportunity to cross-train at other participating
ICE schools for a low nominal fee. Participating Black Belt members of
ICE support participating programs by serving on testing boards. ICE
Instructors participate in an annual ICE awards banquet to honor the top
ICE competitors and to celebrate solidarity in the martial arts
community. Participating members of ICE will support the Federation by
attending and participating in ICE-sanctioned events.
Honor and respect for other members and for the martial arts community
shall permeate all decisions and actions by ICE members. For More Info
