The Maison Martial Arts Community
program is fully developed and was scheduled to begin in the Fall of
2006,
But due to the response at the dojo we have opted to move the tentative launch
date. When we launch this program we will
be teaching in local schools and community centers starting here in
Roseville and St. Clair Shores Mi.

Community Program Frequently asked Questions
Q: How much will it cost?
A: The community program's pricing structure will be in line with the Dojo's pricing with a couple of exceptions. In the community program you will only pay for classes attended and the fee will be in the range of $5.00 to $6.00 per class attended and testing fee's will be separate. Also in the community program their will be a small registration fee at the beginning of each term to satisfy the insurance requirements of the facility.
Q: What equipment will I be required to purchase?
A: The equipment purchases that are required are spread out over a long period of time, We at Maison Martial Arts will not force you to purchase non essential equipment. In other words all equipment that you're required to purchase will be used on a fairly regular basis and you do not have to purchase equipment that you can not use. Also the prices will be the same for equipment in either program.
Q: Is your program specifically designed for children?
A: No, martial arts is not specifically designed for children, it is in fact designed and can be shaped for virtually anyone.
Q: If my child trains can I train and promote with him/her?
A: Absolutely positively and we promote that 100% in both the community program and the Dojo
Q: If I test for rank and don't pass do I have to pay again for testing?to the fall of 2007
A: No, If you test for rank and do not pass the test you do not have to re-pay for that test ever again.
Q: Do you have video's or any media related to your requirements for rank promotion
A: Yes, all of the requirements are spelled out in the "Student Handbook" and video's are in progress.
Q: Does Martial Arts teach kids to beat up other kids?
A: The answer to this is no, what Maison Martial Arts teaches is self defense.
