Sensei Maison began his training when he was seven years old under Sensei Woz in a community program, When he reached an advanced rank he moved into a main Dojo. He then, while training went back to the community program and was the head assistant for Sensei Woz. for 2 1/2 years. At the age of 10 he had reached the level of 1st gup and 22 months later in September 1999 he tested in front of the Grand Master for his First Dan Black Belt. During this time he also achieved a Brown Belt in the Okinawan style of Bojutsu training under Sensei Woz and a Green Belt in Sai training under Master Stanic. Sensei Maison at the age of 12 began teaching in the community program with a school of his own and picked up an assistant of his own (She went on to run a community program school on her own as well). While teaching in the community program and training in a main Dojo, Sensei Maison also attended a 2 1/2 year 3 phase instructor certification program taught by the Grand Master. Sensei Maison has also trained for 3 1/2 years at another Dojo in a hybrid style of Tang Soo Do and with that system learned Korean style Bojutsu, Nunchucku, and Pilipino Escrima.

Gary is a very enthusiastic person who loves martial arts. He began his training in a community program just as Sensei Maison did. In that program Gary worked and tested up into the advanced ranks. When that program was no longer available to him He trained at the same Dojo as Sensei Maison, again working hard and testing well into the advanced ranks. With that style he learned a bit of Nunchucku and Pilipino Escrima. During that time he was also training under Sensei Maison in Okinawan Bojutsu and has achieved his middle of three ranks in that system, Gary continues to train for his Brown Belt in Okinawan Bojutsu under Sensei Maison.
